Bottle blowing machine, also called hollow bottle blowing machine, is a rapidly developing plastic processing method.
The final products of the bottle blowing machine include multi-layer composite films and various polyolefin hollow containers, which are widely used in beverages, medicine, cosmetics, food and chemical industries because of their light weight, low cost, and high safety.
Blow molding machine: A device that uses a blow molding process to make plastic particles into hollow containers.
The more common models include:
(1) Extrusion blow molding machine; (2) Injection blow molding machine; (3) Special structure blow molding machine;
According to the processing technology, it is divided into one-step blow molding machine and two-step blow molding machine.
One-step method: The sprayed liquid plastic is blown to a certain shape of the mold cavity by the wind blown by the machine to make the product. The materials are mainly PP and PE.
Two-step method: first use raw materials to make preforms, and then blow them. Mainly used to make plastic bottles with PET, PC or PP as raw materials.
Nowadays, the two-step blow molding machine is widely used.
The blowing principle of the bottle blowing machine
(1) Warm up
a: Use infrared high temperature tube lamp to irradiate the preform, and heat and soften the preform part
b: The embryo mouth part does not need to be heated, this step is to maintain the shape of the bottle mouth
(2) Blow molding
a: Discharging-place the preheated preform into the blown film
b: Locking-use the clamping cylinder to tighten the mold; use high pressure or mechanical structure to lock the blank;
c: Stretching-medium and high pressure pre-blowing, while stretching the cylinder action to expand the blank;
e: Deflation-high pressure blowing, the preform is shaped according to the mold, and the pressure is kept for a certain period of time;
f: Take the bottle-release the high pressure in the formed bottle, reset the cylinder-take the bottle.
Fully automatic bottle blowing machine: The whole process is automatically operated by a manipulator, no need to manually place the preform, which greatly accelerates the production speed.
In 1938, Enoch Ferngren and William Kopitke built a blow molding machine and sold it to the Hartford Empire Company.
In the 1840s, the variety and quantity of plastic products were very limited. Therefore, the blow molding process did not develop rapidly until very late.
During World War II, the blow molding process was used to produce low-density polyethylene vials.
In the late 1850s, with the birth of high-density polyethylene and the development of blow molding machines, blow molding technology was widely used.
The volume of the hollow container can reach thousands of liters, and some production has adopted computer control.
Plastics suitable for blow molding have appeared polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, polypropylene, polyester and so on.
From 1977 to 1999, the soft drink industry in the United States was established, and the number of plastic containers increased from zero to 10 billion.
